When learning how to sell on EBay for a profit, most people find it hard to find products to list in their auctions. The truth is, finding products to sell on Ebay can be pretty simple. The Internet is full of resources for the inspiring EBay Business man/woman! The trick is finding these resources! Whether you want to sell cellular phones, or video games, there is a place on the Internet that will make your life a whole lot easier!

One of the first places that I look when I am trying to find stuff to list in my auctions is EBay itself! The average EBay'er doesn't know about lot auctions! A lot auction is an auction that features products in bulk at a much cheaper price than retail!

Here is an example of a lot auction: Lot of 5 Airsoft Rifes. Take a minute to check out that listing. You will notice that you are getting five airsoft rifles WAY below retail! The retail price of each of those rifles sold individually is over $200! You are getting all five of them for about $50! If you were to buy that lot, and list each item individually, you are looking at about a $150 profit! Thats a 300% Profit!

Sure, since you are selling on EBay, and you want to be ahead of your competition, you probably wont list those Airsoft Rifles at retail. However, if you were to list each one of them for even half of the retail price, you are going to make a $50 profit on that auction alone! Imagine if you were to buy 10 of those lots! You will spend $500, but you will make a $1000 profit! Thats a winner every time in my book!

How To Get Started Selling On Ebay

Before you can begin to learn how to sell on Ebay, you should first know how to set up an account as a seller! Dont worry though, because this is a very painless process! It literally only takes a few minutes to get up and running, and I will do my best to walk you through the whole process!

First, if you dont already have the Ebay website loaded up, here is the link! Now, once the website is loaded, look for the register link at the top of the page. Click that link, and the registration for will load. The information required is pretty standard. When it is time to choose a username and password, make sure you choose something that you can remember! Personally, I use my first name, and my date of birth... example :MYNAME2214. This makes it very hard to forget!

Now, once you complete the sign up process, you will have to become ID verified. Unfortunately, Ebay charges a $5.00 fee to become ID verified, but they do this to protect both the buyers and sellers. Ebay has a long standing reputation of preventing fraud, and this is one of the ways they do it! Its only $5.00... and if you are serious about learning how to sell on ebay, this is one of the small steps that you MUST take!

Once you have finished the ID Verification process, you need to sign up for PayPal. PayPal is the most popular online payment processor on the Internet, and they work with Ebay to make both the buyer and seller's lives much easier! Signing up for PayPal is very easy, so I am not going to go through that process here. It is also important to become a PayPal Verified. Instructions can be found at the PayPal website!
